Our Mission

Tri-Cities Rowing Association (TCRA) is a service-oriented rowing community whose mission is to offer all people—regardless of their background—an opportunity to participate in a sport that connects individuals to themselves, their neighbors, and their environment.

Goals

Our long-term goal is to develop dues-based adult programs and fundraising structures that support programs for local high-school students from ethnic and economic backgrounds that have been historically overlooked by other rowing communities.

Current Board members

All board members are volunteers from our community who meet on a regular basis to advance TCRA goals.

  • Casey Demory, Secretary
  • Caitlin Aleman, Treasurer

Member Comment: Any current TCRA member wishing to have an item for discussion on the board’s agenda must email the secretary (secretary@rowtc.org) to be added. Agenda items cannot be added at the meeting, and must be done in advance. Members can request time to address the board in person at the end of meetings or during a relevant portion of the agenda. Time per member will not exceed 3 minutes. The Board will hear all current member comment and take it into consideration.

**There may occasionally be times where the board must enter a closed session. At these times, non-board members will be asked to leave. The board will attempt to move any of these items to the end of the agenda.
